Networking Workshop with Tendayi

Performing at some of London’s most iconic venues and festivals, including Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s, Cross The Tracks, EFG Jazz Festival, and curating events for fashion brands like TIP LDN, graduate award-winning Point Blank alumni Tendayi has a wealth of experience to learn from. Tendayi is an experimental jazz trip-hop Songwriter, Producer, and Engineer currently working at RAK Studios, one of the top three commercial studios in the UK. Tendayi has helped record for acclaimed artists, such as Jordan Rakei, James Bay, Jess Glynn, Eliza, and many more. As an artist, he has collaborated with some of London’s most electrifying Jazz and hip-hop musicians, including Richard Spaven, Grammy award-winning David Mrakpor (Blue Lab Beats), Tom Ford, Ayo Salawu (Kokoroko), Jackson Mathod, and Nicola Guida.

Tendayi returns to deliver a workshop that will take you through the mechanics of Networking events and socials. The session will explore how networking events are organised from conception, allowing you to understand the benefits of attending and where to find them. You will be taught how to succeed in these environments, extracting crucial contacts, platforming yourself, navigating professional conversations, and developing industry relationships. We will use role play to prepare you for real-life circumstances, improving your confidence in social settings.
