Audio for Games - Workshop

Workshop Details

This workshop will provide the chance to introduce yourself to Interactive Audio. You will learn the basics of FMOD - a Middleware tool that turns interactive audio scripting into a fun and dynamic experience similar to audio and music design in your DAW.

The idea of Interactive Audio is that you don't hear the same thing each time your press play and that there is variety and adaptivity based on game related scenarios. During this workshop, we will explore the basic tools that can make your existing music compositions dynamic and variable.

If you're taking part in this workshop, please bring some existing music stems of your own compositions to play with (i.e. separated tracks of drums, bass, leads etc, - all musical styles are relevant!).
