Point Blank is proud to be ahead of the curve in delivering a fantastic student experience, whether on campus or online. During lockdown (and importantly, after the pandemic too) we are happy to provide our students with all the exclusive features listed here.
Inspiring you to get more creative while you find your identity as a DJ, this college course is designed to increase your chances of getting DJ gigs. It investigates an array of exciting skills and techniques that you can apply to your DJ sets and mixes: add to your live set skills with looping, cue points and turntablism principles; understand vocal structures and harmonics; learn how to apply killer audio effects; get to grips with the recording and editing process using intuitive software Ableton Live. These college classes introduce key creative concepts to you and allow students to gain practical experience using DJ hardware to put them in to practice in a live scenario. You will also be shown how to create mixes suitable for broadcast. As with all Point Blank courses, there is plenty of one-to-one support from your instructor throughout. All music styles are welcome and some previous DJ experience or completion of our Essential DJ Skills course is required. It has been a pleasure studying at Point Blank! I am super impressed by your courses as well as the instructors. Since studying at Point Blank I have managed to get DJ gigs in a few places, and I couldn't have done this without my DJ course at Point Blank. - Roberto, DJ student
