Welcome

Welcome to our schools and colleges hub. As part of our commitment to access and participation, we will be including content for students, teachers and advisors. This will include information and resources such as tutorial videos, recommended software and plug-ins, information about forthcoming events and session plans which we have developed to complement elements of the KS4 and KS5 UK music curriculum. We hope you find this useful to implement as part of existing lessons, or as extra-curricular activities such as lunchtime or after school music production clubs.

Open Days

Our London Open Day is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our music production, sound engineering, DJ, vocal performance and music industry courses at our campus in London. The event will include a tour of our state-of-the-art studio facilities and an exclusive track deconstruction from our Head of Education & Curriculum, Ski Oakenfull. Our Course Advisors, Admissions team, Expert Lecturers and Student Ambassadors will also be on hand to answer any questions you have. If for any reason you can’t attend, please contact us and we'll be more than happy to arrange a personal tour for you. We offer individual or group studio tours every Wednesday at 2pm. To book your studio tour simply email our Course Advisors.

6-Week Programme

The outreach team at Point Blank have designed a six-week course of sessions with the aim of introducing beginner-level music production techniques to learners in Key Stages 3 and 4. As part of our commitment to supporting schools and colleges with their attainment, we hope that these resources will provide you with material that you are able to use either as part of an established music curriculum, or as an extra curricular activity such as a lunchtime or after school music production club. Taster Workshops

We regularly run practical taster workshops for schools, colleges, and community groups at Point Blank. We would also be pleased to visit your learners to deliver workshops and presentations in school/college settings – if this is of interest, please contact the outreach team to discuss factors such as location and studio facilities.

Fairs & Exhibitions

If you would like us to attend your school or college Careers/Higher Education Fair, please get in touch with our outreach team. We also look forward to meeting your learners at many of the larger-scale exhibitions across the country, such as UCAS, Create Your Future, and UK Uni Search.
