Point Blank is dedicated to helping talented producers from all over the world achieve excellence at our beautiful Mack Sennett Studios campus in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. This is a talent-based scholarship which can defray up to 20% of your Point Blank tuition cost. The amount of the scholarship is adjudicated according to talent as evidenced through a portfolio combined with potential for industry success as evidenced through a personal statement.
To apply, you must complete the Financial Support Application and include both a portfolio and a personal statement which meet the requirements below.

Your personal statement must be at least 250 words and must address each of the following four prompts:
Point Blank Music School in Los Angeles is dedicated to helping music students of limited means achieve excellence through our programs. Students whose families make less than $60,000 per year or individuals making less than $30,000 per year are eligible to apply for a need-based tuition grant, which can defray up to 20% of your Point Blank tuition cost.
To apply, you must complete the Financial Support Application including your most recent tax return (if you file), your parents most recent tax return, and a personal statement. If you are not a US citizen/resident, submit a recent bank statement as well as your parents’ most recent bank statement. The personal statement must be at least 250 words and must address why you feel you deserve a need-based tuition grant.
If you enroll in one course or program at Point Blank Los Angeles, you will receive a $200 discount off of tuition for each additional program you book during the same term. Students who receive a talent-based scholarship or need-based tuition grant are not eligible for package discounts. Each time Dr. Mathew Knowles teaches his Fundamentals of the Music Industry In The Digital Age course online through Point Blank, one lucky winner gets a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to take the class. The next start date for this course is Wednesday, February 23, 2022. RA Young Producer's Scholarship (Los Angeles)
The Resident Advisor Young Producers Scholarship grants a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition and fees to one lucky student for the Music Production and DJ Performance Master Diploma program held in person at Point Blank Los Angeles. It is available to applicants aged 18-25 whose circumstances may otherwise prevent them from studying at Point Blank, and it aims to provide a unique platform for a new generation of electronic music DJs and producers, with a focus on enabling young artists the opportunity to pursue their passion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those who feel that they face difficulties when accessing the music scene due to their cultural background and/or socioeconomic status. If any applicants have accessibility needs and would like assistance applying, we are here to help.
To be considered for this scholarship simply submit a scholarship application in the form of a Resume and Cover Letter (2 pages maximum). Your Cover Letter should include the following:

If you are selected as a finalist, you will be invited to attend a virtual panel interview between 21st February and 7th March 2022. Once all of the shortlisted applicants have been interviewed the winner will be selected, contacted and officially announced on 11th March 2022.
All applicants must meet the standard entry requirements for the relevant course in addition to the criteria outlined above.
