What are CertHE programmes and who are they for?

Certificates of Higher Education (CertHE) are qualifications that equal the first year of an undergraduate degree programme. These are perfect if you want to undertake the first year of a degree course, but do not want to take a full undergraduate degree qualification. This may be because you just need a year of study to better understand particular career paths and plan your next steps, or to upgrade specific skills and knowledge. With a CertHE you can leave Point Blank with a recognised university qualification, but do not have to commit to three years of study when you begin. A popular option for people who complete a CertHE  is to carry on studying for two more years to gain a full BA (Hons) undergraduate degree. If you are a home student, you'll be eligible for student loan support in the same way as for any undergraduate degree course.

Don't qualify for our HE courses? Don't worry! You can gain access to our CertHE and degree courses by taking our Foundation Year course!
