Step Inside The Music Industry this September 2024

Step 1

Review our courses and select which you want to apply for.
We can guide you if you need some help and advice on which one is best for you, whether it's a course in Music Production and Sound Engineering, Radio, DJing, Music Industry Management or Vocal Performance.  

If you haven't applied through UCAS and you know that you want to study at pointblank, you can apply to us directly or call our Clearing hotline on +44 (0) 207 729 4884 where our team can take you through your application with ease.

If you have an active UCAS profile and want to apply to pointblank through that route then please proceed to step 2!

Step 2

It's always good to be totally prepared so, if you can, have the following information to hand before you call us:

• Your qualifications and grades
• Your UCAS ID number (if you are applying to us directly this won't be relevant)
• Your date of birth, address and phone number 
• A link to your online portfolio (if you have one)
• A list of questions you would like to ask us

We will guide you on how best to proceed with your application. If you are applying directly to us and do not have an UCAS application then the process is straightforward - apply here - alternatively, call our friendly admissions team on +44 (0) 207 729 4884 where you'll get all the help you'll need. If you have already applied via UCAS, please go to the Refer section of these pages where you'll be guided through that application process.

Step 3

Call us on  +44 20 7729 4884 and press option 1 any time from 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The team can take you through the application process, you can discuss our courses, your grades and any other burning questions you may have. We are always keen to see creative work and work in progress so we might also ask you to send us a link to your portfolio and / or attend an interview (face-to-face or via Zoom).

After your assessment, you may be given an offer for your dream course (fingers crossed).

Step 4

If you already have a UCAS profile and we offer you a place, simply log onto UCAS Track and refer your application. Once we've confirmed your

place through Track, you will receive a confirmation email through UCAS, and then you'll be good to go!

Step 5

If you haven't yet completed your Student Finance application, you will need to apply now in order for have everything in place for when you start your course.

If you have already applied for SLC funding but your choice of university or course has changed, you will need to update these details on your online account.
