This session with Soraya will be a deep dive into talent management. In a world where talent is key, whether you’re an aspiring artist, talent manager, songwriter or even a promoter, it’s vital you understand what the people who look after talent do. The session will cover the key responsibilities of a talent manager, and how you can get started as either a talent manager or an artist in your own right. We will cover top line responsibilities of liaising with lawyers, publishers, PRO’s, record labels, DSPs, promoters and booking agents.

Students will walk away with a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of talent management and some basic tools and ideas of how to make a start in their career, and an understanding how to get a release out there and attract an audience and the industry.
