In this masterclass, Mau Montekio will go through the process of creating a Melodic Techno track using Mixed In Key’s Captain Plugins suite to generate melodies, chords and beats. Mau will go through the typical sounds used in Melodic Techno as well structure and how you can make your music stand out from the crowd.
Mau Montekio is a music producer from México City with 11 years of experience producing a wide range of genres including, Tech House, Melodic Techno, Trance, EDM Pop, Future Bass, Latin, Hip Hop and Trap. Having won the 2018 Mixed In Key Music Innovation contest, he also works with Mixed In Key alongside their production suite, Captain Plugins to provide product demos and software projects.
He has produced music for many electronic artists from the underground scene and brands such as Netflix, Chevrolet, Facebook Gaming, and Tiger, among others.
Mau has also been releasing his own music under the names “Mau Montekio” and “Tekia”.
