From the trenches of Pirate radio to 1xtra. Meet DJ Fonti, one of the founding members of the legendary Heartless Crew. One of the biggest names in the whole of the UKG scene that has set a precedence for the standard of one of the UK's fondest musical exports. After touring the world and getting more wheel ups than sleep, the collective are widely respected and revered as one of the musical groups alongside Roll Deep and So Solid - credited for helping to bring about the sonic shift from garage to grime in the early 2000's.

In this session, we'll sit down with DJ Fonti to discuss his career so far and some of the most important lessons, tips and tricks he has learned along the way. We'll find out how to get the party started and how to keep it going. We'll also learn how to revive and reinvent yourself after such a long spanning career. And what is the key to staying active and employed as a DJ during a global pandemic which has seen disruption and destruction to the live music scene.
