Supported by Pioneer, the DJ Studio features the very latest in world class DJ kit for you to get hands on experience on a variety of set ups before playing out. Complete DJ guides you through essential DJ skills: beatmatching, CD and vinyl mixing, digital DJing, intro to scratching and more. Classes are taught by professional DJs on the latest kit including CDJ2000 Nexus, DJM2000 Nexus, EFX 1000, RMX 1000, DDJ-SX DJ Controller as well as NI Traktor Kontrol S4, X1 and F1 and trusty, old school vinyl Technics 1210s. Each student has their own set up in class, all styles are welcome and every student has access to the facilities seven days a week. By the end of the course you'll have the chance to play at a live event in London and also to get your mix on Pioneer DJ Radio which features Point Blank students every two weeks. You can take this course without any prior experience. It is creative and practical in nature so academic grades are not required to enrol.
Students on Short Courses have one lecture day each week. Lecture days for these courses take place either one daytime class (11am-6pm) or two evening classes (6:30pm-9:30pm) per week. Your classes will be scheduled before the start of each term. Please note, Audio Mastering and Advanced Radio Production are available as evening classes only. Call for details and to arrange times convenient time for you. In addition to classes, students are expected to schedule sufficient studio practical work each week. The studio facilities are open to you seven days a week gaining you valuable studio time and reinforcing the skills learned in class.

We host studio tours in the Orsman Road Studio Complex every Wednesday at 5:30pm and every Saturday at 12:30pm. Address: 26 Orsman Road, Hoxton, London, N1 5QJ. Please Contact Us to make an appointment. The Admissions Team will show you around the facilities, answer questions and help get you enrolled. There are four terms per year: January, April, July and September and you can start your course at any of these entry points. However, our courses have limited availability and get booked well in advance, so we recommend enrolling as soon as you are ready to secure your place to avoid disappointment.

For courses of 6 months or more: you will most likely need to apply for a Tier 4 Visa. Point Blank has been awarded Tier 4 Sponsor Status and is able to sponsor international students on a Tier 4 Visa as long as applicants satisfy our application criteria. Please refer our International Student Guidance section for more information on the application process. NB: International Students (outside the EU) course fees are subject to a £1000 surcharge.
