The Sound Design course at Point Blank Los Angeles is an insightful journey through the creative processes involved in making your own unique sounds and textures at the cutting edge of modern music production. You also get sonic theory and in-depth analysis, so you know what you're doing and why. We also cover Native Instruments' Reaktor and Max for Live, so you'll sure to find this college-level course in Sound Design both challenging and fascinating. This is where you can realize the sounds and music you can hear in your mind. Students also gain access to our well-equipped facility, an Ableton Certified Training Center where every student's workstation includes a Push controller, Ableton Live 10, NI Komplete, Output REV, and more. This course includes a free copy of Ableton Live 10, plus unlimited practice time, and can be taken as a daytime or weekend option. The Sound Design course has been extremely helpful for me in improving my tools as a music producer. Learning about the different types of synthesis has enabled me to start creating my own sounds to use in my songs, which gives them a unique sound. Thanks to Point Blank for the great course! - Daryl, Sound Design student
