This six month program takes you on a musical journey through music production and sound design. Taught in intimate groups with two full lectures days per week, you'll learn how to use Ableton in the most creative ways using instruments, plug ins, effects, sound design and mixing techniques. Each workstation includes Maschine, Push controller, Ableton Live, Native Instruments Komplete, Kontrol 49 and Output's excellent REV, all of which are covered in the course curriculum, as well as music composition techniques from world class music industry professionals that you will find invaluable.

You can take this course without any prior experience. It is creative and practical in nature so academic grades are not required to enroll. Point Blank ensures that students have a sound grasp of all the fundamental music production skills before moving on to more complex techniques in later course modules.

Please note your classes will be scheduled before the start of each term. Call for details. In addition to classes, students are expected to schedule sufficient studio practical work each week. The studio facilities are open to you outside your lectures times gaining you valuable studio time and reinforcing the skills learned in class.
