Music Production & DJ Diploma

Overview

The Music Production & DJ Diploma is an intensive, rigorous, and fun 6-month program developed and delivered at an Ableton-certified college by music industry professionals whose credits include Flying Lotus, Skrillex, Pharrell, Amy Winehouse, and more. Taken together, the 8 courses are a powerful journey deep into both modern DJ practice and music production technique. This college program is designed to help you discover your own identity as a DJ/producer and develop professional-level skills that will enable you to find your ideal place within the music industry. Featuring Ableton Live and Push, NI Komplete and Maschine, and the latest Pioneer DJ equipment, the Music Production & DJ Diploma program includes 8 different courses, each specializing in a critical area of music production & DJing - view the course content below. Students also enjoy masterclasses taught by high caliber guests which have included Mark de Clive-Lowe, Laura Escude (Jay Z, Kanye West), Daddy Kev (Low End Theory), and Jimmy Mac (Lorde's MD). I like the professionalism and discipline at Point Blank. My program has a very defined structure from the beginning to the end, and it gives me confidence that if I work and practice I can learn and be able to be a DJ. I'm lucky to have my teacher. Apart from being a pro and a very good DJ, he really knows the foundations of music and cares about his students. He doesn't miss a beat! He is always is there to answer everyone's questions with care and patience. And always with a smile, which I really appreciate! Congratulations on Point Blank's success. Thank you and keep up the hard work and your love for the music industry - it's contagious! - Miguel, DJ student
