We're excited to announce that we have again teamed up with the renowned Resident Advisor (RA) to launch our new Young Producer's Scholarship. This initiative was created to help passionate musicians who might not have the opportunities or funding to build a career in the music industry. We are launching three scholarships to help you do just that!
Our collaborative programme with RA will be awarded either a full scholarship to the CertHE Music Production & DJ Practice course worth over £9,000 based in the heart of London's creative hub, Shoreditch. There is also a a full scholarship to the Music Production & DJ Performance Diploma in Los Angeles or the online CertHE Music Production & Sound Engineering.
These in-depth courses will give you the skills you need to become a successful artist and producer. You'll be taught by the best in the business and you'll study music production, composition, sound design, mixing and mastering, and more throughout your time at Point Blank.
All scholarships start on 11th April 2022, giving you plenty of time to prepare for your course. Apply early, and we look forward to receiving your submissions!
Want to apply?
To apply for one of these scholarships, you need to be aged between 18-25 years, and apply directly to one of our Higher Education Programmes. You'll need to send us a scholarship application in the form of a CV and Cover Letter (2 sides A4 maximum). Your covering letter should include the following:
- The scholarship you are applying for (school location and course name)
- The reason you are applying and should be selected for the scholarship
- Highlights of your relevant musical experience (professional or personal)
- Links to your artist social media profiles (Soundcloud, YouTube, Insta etc.)
- Links to video / audio clips showcasing your strongest music and/or mix

What happens next?
- Shortlisting applicants will occur between February 14th and 21st 2022.
- If you are selected, you will be invited to an interview panel that will occur between February 21st and March 7th 2022.
- The scholarship awardees will be announced by March 11th 2022.
