DENIS Sulta X DJ Mag Scholarship (LONDON)

This scholarship is available to UK based applicants with a seen or unseen disability whose circumstances may otherwise prevent them from commencing studies in music. It aims to provide access to music education for all, with a focus on enabling disabled artists to pursue their passion through education.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those who feel that they face difficulties when accessing the music scene due to their disability, cultural background and/or socioeconomic status. If any applicants have accessibility needs and would like some assistance applying we are here to help. The value of this scholarship is £9,250 per year for three years (in the form of a fee-wavier).

To be considered for this scholarship simply apply for the BA (Hons) Music Production and DJ Practice (3 years) or the BA (Hons) Music Production and DJ Practice (2 years) and submit a scholarship application in the form of a musical CV and Cover Letter (2 sides A4 maximum). Your covering letter should include the following:

  • The name of the scholarship you are applying for
  • Your name and contact details (inc. application number if available)
  • Evidence of your stated disability 
  • The reason you are applying and should be selected for the scholarship
  • Highlights of your relevant musical experience (professional or personal)
  • Links to your artist social media profiles (Soundcloud, YouTube, Insta etc.)
  • Links to video / audio clips showcasing your strongest music and/or mix

If you are selected as a finalist, you will be invited to attend a virtual interview with Denis Sulta between 12th - 29th July. Once all of the shortlisted applicants have been seen the winner will be contacted and officially announced on 1st August.
