Point Blank Music School is excited to announce the launch of our ‘Saturday Beats’ programme aimed at young people aged 14-19. Running over five consecutive Saturdays, the programme will provide an insight into music production, and a taster of what it would be like to study this discipline at higher education level.
Participants will learn how to edit samples, structure their tracks, build custom drum kits, create songs to a high standard and much more. The programme is taught by our industry professional lecturers at our state-of-the-art London studios and will run throughout the following dates:
Saturday Beats – Dates
- March 5th 2022 – April 2nd 2022 (every Saturday for 5 weeks)
- May 27th 2022 – June 25th 2022 (every Saturday for 5 weeks)
- September 10th 2022 – October 8th 2022 (every Saturday for 5 weeks)
- October 15th 2022 – November 19th 2022 (every Saturday for 5 weeks)
Saturday Beats is free to attend, however spaces are limited, and priority will be given on the basis of our commitments to supporting students from underrepresented groups.
The programme is designed to provide a fun, engaging experience in music, helping students to develop new skills and consider future pathways into higher education and beyond.
