DJ / Producer Summer School


We’re very excited to offer you the chance to learn how to produce music and DJ from the very best in the business whilst experiencing the unique buzz of London, the international hub of electronic music. This course is tailored for music lovers worldwide who want to learn the craft of a DJ / Producer by day and experience London's cutting-edge club scene by night. You’ll get the comprehensive practical hands-on training that Point Blank are renowned for, condensed into four weeks of power learning here in London. You'll also be treated to the best of the city’s vibrant nightlife in VIP style through our relationships with globally-renowned names, including Ministry of Sound and Defected. With four days of studio time each week and unlimited practice time throughout the course, every student gets their own fully-loaded workstation featuring the very latest equipment from Pioneer DJ, Ableton and Native Instruments. The course culminates with a performance at a top London bar/club venue and you'll get exclusive access to a range of clubs and parties over the time that you’re here, including 51st State festival. Are there entry requirements for this course?

You can take this course without any prior experience. It is creative and practical in nature so academic grades are not required to enrol. Point Blank ensures that students have a sound grasp of all the fundamental skills before moving on to more complex techniques in more advanced modules. 

Where is the course taught?

Courses are delivered at our London campus which comprises of two buildings (on Orsman Road and Penn Street) within 400 metres of each other. Click here for more information on how to find us.

EU Students

Students from the UK, European Union or European Economic Area can apply by following the guidance in the previous FAQ.

Non - EU Students

If you are from outside the EU, you will most likely need a Standard Visitor Visa to take this course. Please contact us for more information. 

Do I need to buy equipment to take the course?

We supply all the equipment you need for your class and for practice time at our studios. You have access to our facilities 7 days a week during term time for the length of your course (excluding scheduled breaks). 

If you wish to buy equipment or software for your home studio, remember that Point Blank students qualify for discounts from Apple Education, Ableton, Native Instruments, Pioneer DJ and other leading industry partners.

Do you provide accommodation?

We work closely with student residence provider Urbanest, and have secured a choice of ensuite accommodation for the complete duration of the courses.
