If you have already mastered the basics of production and want to enjoy six months furthering your skills in the electronic music capital city, this Advanced Diploma is for you. This is comprehensive, hands on training condensed into six months of power-learning. Non-UK/EU students can apply for this course with a Short Term Study Visa. There are four full practical lecture days per week (11am-6pm) plus unlimited studio time. Developed and taught by music industry professionals who have worked with Pharrell and N.E.R.D, Kanye, Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas and more, this course equips you with the widest range of advanced music skills possible in the time available. You'll need dedication and passion for your music to get the most out of this highly intensive course.

To meet the entry requirements for this course you will need to have already completed the Point Blank Introduction to Production module or be able to demonstrate appropriate/equivalent prior learning. Ask a Course Advisor.

For courses of 6 months or more: you will most likely need to apply for a Tier 4 Visa. Point Blank has been awarded Tier 4 Sponsor Status and is able to sponsor international students on a Tier 4 Visa as long as applicants satisfy our application criteria. Please refer our International Student Guidance section for more information on the application process. NB: International Students (outside the EU) course fees are subject to a £1000 surcharge.
For courses of 6 months or less: you will not require a Tier 4 Visa but may need to apply for a Student Visitor's Visa. Please refer to our International Student Guidance section for more information on the application process.
There are four terms per year: January, April, July and September and you can start your course at any of these entry points. However, our courses have limited availability and get booked well in advance, so we recommend enrolling as soon as you are ready to secure your place to avoid disappointment.
Yes, we offer instalment plans for all our courses. To view the payment options available, click on the "Enrol Now" link above and navigate to step 2. There you can see the full payment options and payment dates for your chosen course and start date.
Degree and Diploma students take up to four modules concurrently. Each module requires your attendance at one daytime class. Please note your classes will be scheduled before the start of each term. Call for details. In addition to classes, students are expected to schedule sufficient practice time each week. The studio facilities are open to you 7 days a week gaining you valuable studio time and reinforcing the skills learned in class. Students can also book regular 1-2-1 sessions with our instructors outside of class time. Tier 4 students will be monitored to ensure they fulfil the statutory requirements of their visas.

We host regular studio tours in the Orsman Road Studio Complex on Wednesdays at 2:00pm. Address: 26 Orsman Road, Hoxton, London, N1 5QJ. The Admissions Team will show you around the facilities, answer questions and help get you enrolled. We will be happy to arrange an alternative time if you are not available during our scheduled tours. In the meantime, watch the London School Video Tour now.

We supply all the equipment you need for your class and for practice time at our studios. You have access to our facilities 7 days a week during term time for the length of your course (excluding scheduled breaks).
If you wish to buy equipment or software for your home studio, remember that Point Blank students qualify for discounts from Apple Education, Ableton, Native Instruments, Pioneer DJ and other leading industry partners.
Classes may be available in the evenings and at weekends and we will be happy to see if we can arrange a timetable to fit around your work commitments. Please check with a Course Advisor to see what classes are available.
