The Music Production & Sound Design Advanced Diploma is supported by Pioneer and developed by the Point Blank music industry professionals who have worked with Pharrell Williams, Richie Hawtin, Goldie and more. It is your comprehensive practical guide to the creative process of writing, recording, mixing and mastering your own Class A music whilst discovering how the music industry works. Featuring Ableton, Native Instruments' Komplete and Maschine, the latest DJ kit from Pioneer plus a selection of the best mastering tools available, this intensive course of study includes nine course modules, each specialising in a crucial area of music production. As with all Point Blank programmes, there is no time-wasting: every subject counts in your quest for greatness in music - see module content below. Class sizes are strictly limited and are taught by highly skilled music professionals. Point Blank Los Angeles is headed up by Jesse Rogg, a Grammy-nominated music producer/songwriter who's enjoyed a No.1 US hit with Sam Sparro and is currently working with Banks. Students enjoy Jesse's extensive contacts in the music industry which include our experienced instructors and masterclasses from such high calibre guests as Mark de Clive-Lowe, Thavius Beck, Jimmy Mac (Lorde's MD), Laura Escude (Jay Z, Kanye West) and Daddy Kev (Low End Theory). With highly trained, friendly West Coast Point Blank staff, class sizes are strictly limited so early booking is strongly advised. Please contact a Course Advisor for more information.
