Point Blank is committed to making music education accessible to people of all backgrounds. We are delighted to offer a range of scholarships, bursaries, funds and grants to support this commitment. The Higher Education Bursary (Online) is available to applicants to our degree programme via the Online school. Every academic year, Point Blank can award these to a limited number of outstanding applicants who would not otherwise be able to study with us. It is worth £5,995 per year (£17,985 in total). This means all tuition fees are waived and students will be given free software to complete their course. It's available to applicants and students from all over the world.

Direct Applicants
Applicants applying directly to any of Point Blank's 3 year degree programmes should state they would like to be considered for the bursary on their application form. You should write in your personal statement section how this bursary will help you achieve your goals in the music industry. Successful bursary applicants will be notified with their offer for the course.
UCAS Applicants
UCAS applicants will need to send through a cover letter and portfolio of work to scholarships[at]pointblankmusicschool.com. The cover letter should state how this bursary will help you achieve your goals in the music industry. Applicants will have until 31st January to submit their cover letter and portfolio. Successful applicants will be notified with their offer or contacted separately if they have already been offered a place.

Every year, we can offer online scholarships to talented and hard-working applicants. These scholarships are worth different amounts depending on which course category they fall under. As part of our commitment to provide financial assistance for students who meet financial hardship whilst studying a student loan-funded course with us, we have the Hardship Support Fund available. This fund provides financial support to a select number of current students studying a higher education course who have met unforeseen financial hardship during their studies. For some students, a grant from our Hardship Support Fund can make all the difference, allowing them to refocus on their studies and successfully graduate. The maximum award is £1,000 per year.

The Music Industry Scholarship is worth the value of one module to be used at any of our schools around the world or online. This will be awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding potential in music who are in need of financial assistance.

The Ex-Animo Foundation promotes the advancement of education among young people in the creative arts. There is a total fund of £1,500 available each year for current Point Blank students to purchase equipment while studying at Point Blank. It is available to any current student studying at one of our locations around the world or online.
Current students may apply by sending a cover letter and portfolio of work to scholarships[at]pointblankmusicschool.com. The letter should state how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals in the music industry. Applications will be considered annually. The deadline each year is 31st July. Please note we receive many applications and cannot reply to everyone. If you have not heard back by 31st August, please consider your application unsuccessful. You may reapply the following year.
