Undergraduate Admissions
At Point Blank, we understand each of our applicants have been working hard towards GCSE, A-level and Diploma qualifications and that you may have faced various challenges along the way. This resulted in a great deal of uncertainty, and many of you will have missed out, not just on teaching and learning, but also on the support offered by face-to-face contact with fellow students, friends, family, and employers. Point Blank remains determined that no applicant will be disadvantaged by the pandemic and will be looking at the overall merits of an application received, not just predicted, or attained grades.
We hope it will be reassuring for you to know that we have the flexibility to look at each application on a case-by-case basis, and work with you as individuals to make the best plans to facilitate your academic progression. Results for international and EU applicants who have missed their conditional offer grades will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking in account the processes followed by the awarding bodies in the country the qualifications were awarded (where applicable). All applications will be considered on an individual basis but there may not be enough time for you to prepare your visa documentation and arrive in the UK before the start of term. Upon receipt and assessment of your application, our admissions team will advise if your application will be deferred to April 2023 or October 2023.
