We are excited to announce that Point Blank has been recognised as TEF Gold, the highest accolade on the Teaching Excellence Framework in this year's results. TEF Gold means the institute delivers outstanding teaching and is of the highest quality. We also received 86% for Teaching, 91% for Freedom of Expression and 81% for support of our students' mental health and wellbeing in this year’s National Student Survey (NSS). Academic excellence, student voice, and inclusion are what we are all about and we are overjoyed to be recognised and awarded these results by our students. We’ve been teaching the art of music production and related arts for almost 30 years, from a small studio on the river in South London in 1994, to the worldwide institution you see today. We now offer a range of degrees*, diplomas, certificates and professional courses in various music industry-based disciplines including sound engineering, DJ performance, vocal performance, music business, songwriting, audio software development and radio, audio and podcasting. All of our courses are taught by expert lecturers who currently work within the music industry, with small classes (16 max) focused on delivering plenty of 1-2-1 student-lecturer time. Students in London have access to our state-of-the-art studios (featuring Logic Pro, Ableton Live and Pro Tools) during opening hours. Our facilities are of top industry standard and include Dolby Atmos equipped studios, SSL Duality Delta, Audient, TLAudio and Oram mixing consoles, Ableton Push and Native Instruments Maschine controllers, Komplete Kontrol keyboards, the latest Pioneer DJ and Roland gear. We also run a wide range of professional diplomas, certificates and short courses across our schools in Los Angeles, Ibiza, China, Mumbai and online.
