Due to popular demand, students can now take a Point Blank Diploma course with an emphasis on live sound engineering skills. This is a growth area for the music industry as artists rely more on performance than record sales for income. The Music Production & Live Sound Engineering Diploma will give you the gig experience you need to break into the live music industry whilst also fully acquainting you with everything you need to know about the in-studio production and creative process. Classes take place at Point Blank's famous London HQ with special sessions also booked in at top London recording studio Strongroom during the Sound Engineering module. Students also study the Live Sound modules at Islington's O2 Academy and put their live sound engineering skills into practice at a total of five live shows at a variety of top London venues including the O2 Academy, Barfly & The Garage. These are the venues that helped to launch the careers of Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Gossip and many others. If you want to become a music producer/live sound engineer, put yourself in the right place at the right time and enrol now. This Diploma is taught on either Logic Pro or Ableton Live depending on your preference.
